Welcome back!  And welcome to the Tini Wini Wednesdays!  >)

(spoilers today…  not really though cause I’ve already spoiled the same stuff in older posts… but uh… if you haven’t read them, then… be warned! )

Anyways…  With the Cataclysm expansion coming just around the corner (soon…), I couldn’t help but feel a bit disappointed with the change in Horde leadership.  Thrall did a pretty good job of holding everyone together.  I mean, Taurens are fairly mellow and in a different world, could even be Alliance; but the Forsaken, Blood Elves, Goblins, and Trolls all seem to have issues with eachother in the Horde… Thrall did good keeping everything at peace within the faction and even did ok keeping all out war from erupting.  Heck, even with his girlfriend Jaina, sat down to talk with the Alliance to smooth things over… ok, that didn’t work out so well, but you know Thrall and Varian could be like best buds if they just had some beer and fishing to break the ice.

Ok, to the point!  Thrall is naming a successor!  He has some business elsewhere for the time being and needs someone to lead the Horde.  Sure, they “say” Garrosh is going to take things over, but this is a free country!  And I demand an election!!!!

DECISION 2010!

Who will be the new leader of the Horde?  To lead with an iron fist into battle or mend with steady hands the tattered fabric of diplomatic relations?  YOU DECIDE!

Here are the Candidates:
Garrosh Hellscream - Determined and blood lusting.  Garrosh takes a more conservative Orc stance with his politics; Blood and Thunder!  Too long have the Horde been passive with the Alliance and under his rule a new age of war shall overtake the land.  Although some internal Horde unities may be sacrificed, he promises to bring honor to the Horde and destruction to the Alliance.

Varok Saurfang - Honored Veteran of the first, second, and third wars, Varok stands as a formidable warrior and cunning strategist.  However, do not mistake him to be a warmonger.  In fact, Varok vows to end all war and exhaust every possible diplomatic mean to keep peace, not only within the Horde, but with every other faction and race in Azeroth.  He represents a new face of the Horde, like Thrall’s vision, to build the infrastructure of its people and solidify peace between nations.

Sylvanas Windrunner - Leader of the Forsaken and Banshee Queen, she represents the pinnacle of overcoming adversity.  Finding refuge for her newly formed people, escaping the grasp on the Lich King and later leading the way to his demise, and even leading the raid on UnderCity with Thrall when one of her own attacked the Horde.  Strong and determined, she is ideal to unite the two Horde Kingdoms and end the mistrust between both sides.  She was also Miss Tirisfal 1984!

Baine Bloodhoof - Son of Carnie and leader of the Tauren.  He follows in his father’s footsteps to lead with honor and compassion.  Baine has proven himself to be hard handed in battle while keeping a soft hand for diplomacy.  He even quelled tense relations between the two factions by siding with Varian in order to defeat an evil that would destroy both sides.  Although this soft approach is very different than that of the Horde, it may be the change that it truly needs.

Vol’jin - Darkspear Tribe leader and adviser to the Warchief.  He has seen his people go through many struggles and does his best to lead them from nomadic exile to a solid home.  His aide and relation with Thrall was nothing less than exemplary.  Vol’jin’s main platform is to find more integration of the Darkspear into the Horde.  He is concerned with Garrosh’s plan to exile all non Orcs from Orgrimmar, which would strain internal relations.  However, some call his tactical and military power into question since he is a lvl ?? boss with 5.5 million health and the current ruler of the Darkspear’s native land, Echo Isles, is only a lvl 10 non elite.

Ralph Nader - Well… what election would be complete without his name in the pile?
