You know what the best part about being an artist is? It’s that if you don’t like something, you have the power to change it however you see fit. Don’t like how your yard looks? Just paint a new one. Spouse need a pick-me-up? Just a splash of photoshop… You get the idea. So when I heard all these rumors about my boy Thrall gallivanting about in a dress and finagling with some orc, I just had to do something about it.
Yeah, you’ve all heard me complain about how I don’t approve of the change of regeim and such. And I’m sure Aggra is a capable warrior… But a world (of warcraft) without the Thrall & Jaina duo? Just unthinkable! So, submitted for your approval, I have drawn in a little correction to the lore.
Adam Savage said it best, “I reject your reality and substitute my own.”
I still liked the concept of thrall becoming the new guardian of tirisfal, marrying jaina and giving the reins to garrosh… although I didn’t like him very much back then. Anyways, Garrosh rules imo, and as he says “You will serve the horde, or be crushed by it” or something along the lines. Who am I to discuss to an orc taller than a tauren?
Psh, Varok all the way! Granted, I haven’t had much run ins with Garrosh lately, so who knows. As far as I can tell, the Alliance and Horde are both being kinda jerks about the whole world ending thing.
And why is he taller than a tauren all of a sudden?! I’m telling ya, he’s on the roids!
Oh it was only a dream, thank god….
lol but seriously though, I never had a problem with the idea of Garrosh being the Warchief though I’ve had problems with him. Mostly because I liked the idea of where my character would stand in a government she doesn’t agree with. It allows for much more complex feelings about the government.
hmm, sounds like we have some real life parallels here! XD
You have my full support with this comic.
I used to love the Thrall/ Jaina pairing, it was a little something that tied the horde and the alliance together. When all the other factions and races were going a little mental, at least you knew this pair were trying to do their best.
Saying that I gotta agree with Azarizotza. I do like Garrosh, a whole bunch, I find him a fascinating character. He’s not very likable, but he is believable, he’s flawed and dare I say… Human?
I get into a lot of trouble from my horde buddies for saying this, but it’s like this, I adore Garrosh as a player but my toons wouldn’t follow him into battle… yet! :D
Oh well, there’s always Lor’themar/Velen slash fiction!
/brain bleach
what? a human orc? that’s an insult madam! XD
Though I wonder what an orc would say if you told him that… maybe not so much as say as getting pounded into the ground like a nail… >)
idk… might not follow Garrosh yet… Aggra seemed pretty cool from the goblin questline. Though if Sylvanas said it was ok, I guess it’d be ok with me too… but not so much the G man yet.
Then what about Varian Wrynn? :) He seems a lot more believable then Garrosh, and is also much less of a jerk! Heck, I hated him as well, but now my Alliance toons will follow him till the ends of the earth! ;)
So far Garrosh has shown honour… but he will have a loooong way to go before my Horde toons will follow him as well, and him invading other people’s lands is NOT getting him on my good sides O.O
Ya know, I didn’t ever really have a problem with Varian… other than he’s you know, stubborn and quick tempered… but so is Thrall. They’d have been like best friends in any other circumstance. Up till now, I thought the only vamp teen drama going on in wow was the Team Varian or Team Thrall debate about who’s going to marry Jaina. But now I guess it’s Team Jaina and Team Aggra… XD
As far as expansionism… I’ve kinda seen both sides doing it… again, both are being pretty dumb about the whole diplomacy thing…
Wow! This could be one particular of the most useful blogs We’ve ever arrive across on this subject. Basically Wonderful. I’m also a specialist in this topic so I can understand your hard work. ceebkeddckef
