Zing of the day!
Well… this one’s been on my to-do list for a while. Not exactly sure if blood just squirts out like that, but I assume cartoons are 100% accurate about the exit velocity of blood from the body. In related news, any body part crushed with a large object can be reformed by plugging one’s own mouth with thumb and forcibly exhaling. Hmm, wonder if they have a “cartoon biology & physics” text book… >)
Ps… for this very reason is why I’m not allowed to be a doctor…

Just one word…. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! OH GOD THATS DEQUSTING ( barfs o floor)
but serusly gross dude!
lol, don’t worry… this isn’t going to be a common occurrence. was just in a bit of a strange mood. >)
Realistic optimism all the way ;] Being optimistic about things you know will happen (nyah nyah) or you’re helping them happen
lol! I like that.
I’m a militant optimist, things will get better or else! :)
there ya go! sometimes you just have to teach karma a lesson!
Im not a pessimist. I just have realistic theories on reality, that usually with pain, suffering, and misery
lol….oh… /cry
My glass is always full, either by a liquid or by air (and sometimes of course 50/50 air/liquid)…. Although technically, the molecules in whatever drink one chooses contains mostly nothingness (since the actual matter inside atoms is so sparsely distributed). So if I should be accurate, I must say that the glass is more or less permanently empty even when filled to the brim…
p.s. I love that the wound on the arm and above the kneecap squirts as if there was a major artery cut xD
But how can there be a glass if matter is still mostly nothing? You are holding nothing full of nothing.
[ not - the "matter" inside atoms is not matter, it is an energy wave function - so your atom from the inside looking out is totally nothing at all ]
PPS - the wounds are totally Montey Python - *squirt squirt* Only a flesh wound sir. Walk it off, walk it off!
ah yes, very true! though (if proven true by those dudes at CERN) all matter is submerged in an ether of fields, like Higgs and all the others. so it’s possible there is no empty space.
also, if you remove the glass from your hand, then nothing from nothing will still be nothing! /starts singing
while this is true, the current theory of fields is that they exist as areas of probabilities, where virtual particles pop in and out of existence. that’s where you get that whole e=mcc thing and CERN. with enough energy, we “should” be able to make particles from these fields. like, the electromagnetic particle would be associated with photons. that one’s easy enough. but stuff like Higgs seems a bit harder to make. so I’d guess, under the same theory, you could create a particle from the strong and weak nuclear forces holding the atoms together? so you could make W and Z Bosons for weak and Gluons from the strong. thus, even atoms are in a sea of “stuff”.
but uh… that’s only if the current standard model and all associated quantum theories are in any way correct… guess we’ll find out soon enough, huh?
Arrr the Engineers of the world be overlooked and ignored once again
What we say is - get a smaller glass ye land lubber.
thar question not be how full tha cup. thar question be how big tha cask!
um… yarr!
