A friend of mine has a pet peeve where he can’t stand it when people misuse “literally” to make a point. Example - “I was laughing so hard I literally died!”. It doesn’t bother me, but to poke fun at him about it I like to misuse “figuratively”.
“So I was figuratively driving to work yesterday…”
“Wait were you really driving to work?”
“Yeah.”
“ARGH!”
Fun stuff. ;) I also enjoy answering “yes” to his “either or” questions.
“Should I turn right or left at the stop sign?”
“Yes.”
“Wait… ARGH!”
I mean it’s technically correct! Yeah, you should go left… or right. I just like giving him a hard time and it’s all in good fun so we both laugh about it. Dumb jokes, good times.
I sometimes do the thing where if someone asks which way and asks left, I say right! meaning correct… but it causes delicious potentially fatal confusion!
Except this is a comic so it’s figuratively. At least that’s how I figure it.
Does that mean Coff needs to make a prison break.. IN? I’ve heard Alcatraz is all the rage in Paris!
(ScriptAllower, Y U no work?? )
but Nivella, couldn’t that border around the comic also count as the ‘frame’ of the comic?
well, figuratively speaking of course…
hmm… get rid of script allower! get noscript! >D
my god! it’s framed all the way down!!!!
