Or at least, I think that’s how it works…
So… caught the new episode of True Blood… I think I’m totally lost. I really hate having these 8 or so episode seasons then waiting a year or something for a new one. Granted, True Blood and Game of Thrones is quality, it still isn’t fun to wait. Ah well… least some of the new summer shows are rolling out. Nothing worse than that awkward in between time between programming seasons.
I used to watch 6-10 but they got taken off air one by one ( starting with Firefly….then Chuck last year. )
Summer can be a bummer to wait for the new season really. Now I have to stuck with *shudder* Reality shows …… >_>
sigh… too many good shows get replaced with crud… >(
can’t say I’m a fan of reality… unless it’s like World’s Dumbest or Hardcore Pawn.
I actually have to count? Family Guy, The Cleveland Show, American Dad, Futurama (YAY for Season 7 starting next week!), Simpsons, Yugioh Zexal, Deadman Wonderland, Cougar Town, Vampire Diaries, Misfits, 2 And A Half Men (Still warming up to Ashton Kutcher on it though) How I Met Your Mother, and Big Bang Theory. I think I watch to much TV. Espically when I still have more then 500gbs of old school cartoons to go threw.
HIMYM is pretty awesome!!!
though I dunno if I can really get back into 2.5 men… not an Ashton fan… >\
This past year I think the only shows I watched consistently were Archer, Castle, Community, and Walking Dead
ya know, I’ve been meaning to get into walking dead but never sat down with it… might just have to!
I aint that into tv series anymore since I no longer own a tv (mainly crap on it here in Sweden anyway), tho I do watch Family Guy, American Dad, Cleveland Show, Futurama, Simpsons and South Park. To get that to work, I simply pirate the shows to see them and then buy the dvd boxes when/if they come out to compensate for the download. I would prefere to be able to legally download and watch the shows for like 1€ per episode or so, but that’s a not an option since the network companies doesn’t seem to be interested such solution (at least there is no such solution available here).
my god… no beer and no tv make Shawn something something…
see, this right here is the problem! you have lots of people wanting to watch your shows, not everyone has cable or tivos, and to watch them on their own time, they pirate or stream if there’s no dvd available (and lets face it, dvds are over priced). I liked Hulu at the time it came out, but it went all insane… what I think should happen is something to the tune of an “internet tv station” where shows have ads and you just stream to your heart’s content! everyone wins! I assume this doesn’t happen because of the cable system’s monopolies over broadcasting rights and thus this current situation… the next few years will be interesting as to how they will catch up to the technology, but for now they will just whine and complain about losing money when there’s a hugely profitable market sitting right in front of them that they refuse to tap. /rant
