Probably the same for any place you live, but I swear folks around here have it out for pedestrians.
Anyways, whenever I see these on cars, all I can think of is those old WWII planes with the stamps on the nose of the enemies they shot down. I can only assume it has the same meaning…
My family used to assign points to pedestrians. The faster they were, the more points they were worth generally.
lol, my friends and I do that too!
Miami, Florida, had the same….back in circa 1960′s & 70′s!
Never thought of the “family stickers” as downed stampage…interesting
analogy.
lol
This made my day. Hilarious!
hehe
Living in Florida has made me scared of crossing the street.
I like to think of it as ninja training
If this is the case they need to make stickers for tractors and amish buggies for Indiana and Ohio. Growing up we used to assign points for everything, the aforementioned and telephone poles and mailboxes, basically anything you could take out, but tractors and amish were always worth the most, because you’ve got to admit it takes serious guts to take on a two ton tractor or two tons of horse and buggy. This also reminds me of other things my friends and I would do on long trips, such as Chinese fire drills… ah, the good old days when I was young and stupid.
yeah, we get the occasional tractor, but I’ve seen the amish buggies on tv and I just can’t imagine the frustration of the line of cars behind them.
Wow and the first thing that pops into my mind is Death Race 2000 ……
@Hopeloss - we usually ended up doing the menu from Roadkill Cafe.
The youngest once came up with a good one - Grilled Chicken.
Adults were never amused for some reason but we never drove at night, something about moose and convertibles….
awe, you don’t want the moose to ride in the convertibles with you?
